What does Solar Controlled Glass do?

Installing solar controlled glass can have a huge effect on the way you use your conservatory without having a large effect on the overall interior or exterior appearance. Solar controlled glass is a hi-tech product used throughout the building and construction industry, which allows sunlight to pass through while reflecting a large amount of the associated heat.  This means that you will benefit from a conservatory with far superior temperature control and less temperature variation, allowing you better use of your conservatory for a much greater part of the year. Unlike with a full insulated ceiling or tiled roof ciconversion, with solar controlled glass your conservatory's indoor space will continue to stay bright but will be much cooler and more enjoyable to spend time in, especially during the summer months.

Solar controlled glass will also help reduce rainfall and traffic noise when compared to 25mm polycarbonate or single plane glass panels.  The argon gas filled units reduce the noise even further as well as offering greater insulation properties.
