Case Studies: The Roches

Mr Roche from Finedon had a huge bespoke Conservatory. Although he had a glass roof which is significantly better than Polycarbonate it was still unusable most of the year because of the extreme temperature changes. The only way to turn Mr Roche’s conservatory into a useable room was to install a fully insulated tiled conservatory roof and luckily for him, we were able to re-use the existing aluminium rafters which were strong enough to take our lightweight roof which is almost the same weight as glass and the project was approved by the local authority building control. Within 5 days the conservatory became a room that is now warm in the winter and cool in the summer therefore is useable all year round.
